These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Kala mobile application and related services operated by Kala AI LLC ("Kala," "we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using Kala, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
Eligibility
Kala is intended for users aged 18 and older. By using Kala, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly provide services to anyone under 18.
Account
You may create an account using Apple Sign-In or email and password. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly at hello@getkala.ai if you suspect unauthorized access.
What Kala Provides
Kala offers personalised guidance using an ancient Indian timing and pattern framework, delivered in plain language. Kala is not a substitute for professional medical, mental health, legal, or financial advice. Nothing in this app should be taken as a prediction or a guarantee of future events. The guidance provided reflects tendencies and patterns, not certainties. Your own judgement always comes first.
Subscriptions and Purchases
Kala offers a subscription membership (monthly or annual) and a one-time Blueprint Report purchase. Subscriptions are billed through the App Store (Apple). Subscription management, renewal, and cancellation are handled through your device's subscription settings.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods. Subscription refunds are handled by Apple according to their refund policies.
The Blueprint Report is a one-time purchase that includes a limited period of membership access. Once generated, the report content is non-refundable.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Kala to:
- Violate any applicable law or regulation
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity
- Attempt to access another user's account or data
- Interfere with or disrupt the app's operation or infrastructure
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the app
- Use the app's output for commercial redistribution without written permission
Intellectual Property
All content, design, and technology in the Kala app are owned by or licensed to Kala AI LLC and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Your use of Kala does not grant you ownership of any content or technology. You may use guidance and reports generated for you for personal, non-commercial purposes.
AI-Generated Content
Kala's guidance is generated using artificial intelligence. While we work to ensure accuracy and quality, AI-generated content may occasionally contain errors or imprecisions. Kala does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any guidance provided. You are responsible for how you use Kala's guidance in your own decisions.
Account Deletion
You may delete your account at any time through the app's Settings menu. Account deletion permanently removes your profile, personal model, guidance history, and report content. This action cannot be undone. Deleting your Kala account does not automatically cancel an App Store subscription. You must manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple account settings.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kala AI LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to decisions made based on Kala's guidance. Our total liability for any claim related to the service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to Kala if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that we reasonably believe is harmful to other users, to us, or to third parties. We will provide notice where practical.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the app or by email. Continued use of Kala after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
